Why We Built Dew.
We're a small Australian team, and we were tired of it. Tired of opening a packet of moisture absorber and being hit with a wall of synthetic chemical scent. Tired of ugly plastic tubs that sat awkwardly on wardrobe shelves. Tired of watching mould quietly ruin clothes, shoes and bags in our own homes.
We knew the science worked — calcium chloride has been absorbing moisture reliably for decades. But the products on the market felt like they were designed for a utility cupboard, not a wardrobe. We wanted something better.
How Dew Was Born
After a year of research and development, Dew. launched in 2023 in Sydney, Australia. We set out to create a hanging moisture absorber that actually belonged in your wardrobe — one that looked beautiful, smelled like something you'd choose, and worked quietly in the background for up to 60 days.
Our range comes in five scents — Morning Lavender, Ocean Mist, Red Roses, Jasmine & Neroli, and a fragrance-free Neutral option — plus reusable hooks so nothing goes to waste. Every detail of the scent profiles, the pouch design, and the packaging is decided in Sydney.
Our Commitment to the Planet
We are proud members of 1% for the Planet — a global network of businesses committed to donating 1% of annual revenue to environmental causes. Alongside leading brands around the world, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to the planet they operate on.
We also designed Dew. with end-of-life in mind. The reusable hook means less waste per use. The spent pouch is recyclable through soft-plastic recycling at Woolworths, Coles and other collection points. Small things done consistently make a difference.
